Video Poems
Rajinderpal is a strong believer in arts collaboration.
In Calgary, he was part of an innovative collective of poets, musicians, artists, and videographers who performed under the name the Tar Disaster Project. In 2019, as Rajinderpal was rediscovering his creative career, he collaborated with videographer Abir Abigail Khir on videos for several of his poems.
One of his future plans is to develop a show based on his poems incorporating music, film and a live reading that could be performed at literary and arts festivals. He views these collaboration projects as a way to connect with audiences who may not attend more traditional poetry events.
